The Council have identified Worksop Central as an important regeneration area for change over the next 20 years or so. New development and the change of use of buildings and sites will be part of the regeneration alongside new infrastructure. Therefore, the Council is using the Worksop Central Development Plan Document (DPD) for the area to guide its delivery through the planning process. The DPD will build on work in the emerging Worksop Town Centre Masterplan. Therefore, Bassetlaw District Council is carrying out a call for sites to help build a trajectory of available land in the town centre of Worksop (see boundary below) and to consider possible site allocations in the emerging Worksop Central DPD that will also inform the Worksop Town Centre Masterplan.

You are invited to submit sites which could accommodate:

• Residential development;
• Economic development;
• Retail development opportunities; and
• Any other types of development.
