Additional Restrictions Grant

The Council will assess business eligibility in line with the Covid Restart & Additional Restriction Grants Support Policy. If you can please review the policy before completing the application form to check that your business circumstances meet the grant eligibility criteria.

The Additional Restrictions Grant is a discretionary scheme to support businesses not eligible for the mandatory scheme (Restart Grant), but are within the same non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care, and gym and sports business sectors. In addition, businesses that can demonstrate that they are in the immediate supply chain of these sectors and their business has been adversely affected by restrictions may be considered.

Due to the limited funding available under this scheme, £743,530, the Council will assess applications on a first-come-first-served basis.

The grant application window will open on 23 April 2021 and will close when the funding has been fully depleted. The date set for receipt will be the date when ALL relevant information is supplied by the applying business. Any delays in providing any information may delay the businesses consideration for funding.
